Fans of Twilight will love this movie. Teenage girls in particular will love the movie whatever the critics say, since it meets all their expectations. Whilst the dialogue sometimes doesn't make sense, Robert Pattinson's Edward looks perfect with glistening skin and a strong jaw-line. A chaste love triangle between Edward, Jacob and Bella provides the movie with plenty of looks of tortured longing, but not a lot else.
Edward Cullen exits from the life of his human girlfriend Bella (Kristen Stewart) on her 18th birthday due to the Cullen’s inability to control their instinct to consume human blood at her party. Thus begins the movie's tale of heartache, sexy vampires and unavailability of the male star...
When Stephenie Meyer wrote her first book, Twilight, back in 2003 she would have had no idea that it would be the start of a phenomenon that would take the world by storm with legions of young adults.
When the first book was published in 2005 it was soon a best-seller and the three following books, New Moon (2006), Eclipse (2007), and Breaking Dawn (2008) topped the best-seller lists also.
